Responsibility
- Conduct in-depth legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents for court submissions.
- Assist senior attorneys in preparing for trials, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations in civil, commercial, and family law cases.
- Provide legal advice and representation to clients on labor and employment disputes, including contract reviews and compliance matters.
- Support corporate clients with commercial transactions, due diligence, and regulatory compliance in Indonesia and international jurisdictions.
- Manage client relationships, ensuring clear communication and timely updates on case progress.
- Prepare and review legal agreements, including employment contracts, service agreements, and settlement deeds.
- Stay updated on changes in Indonesian and international laws relevant to the firmâs practice areas.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategies for complex legal cases.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized university; a Juris Doctor (J.D.) or equivalent is a plus.
- Active membership in the Indonesian Bar Association (PERADI) or eligibility to practice law in Indonesia.
- 1-3 years of post-qualification experience in litigation, corporate law, or family law, preferably in a reputable law firm.
- Strong analytical, writing, and oral advocacy skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is highly advantageous.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical practice and client confidentiality.
