Responsibility
- Provide expert legal advice on international and cross-border legal matters, including contracts, compliance, and regulatory issues.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex legal documents, agreements, and contracts for clients across multiple jurisdictions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement legal tech solutions that enhance efficiency and client service.
- Ensure compliance with local, regional, and international laws and regulations relevant to our clients' businesses.
- Conduct legal research and analysis on emerging trends in international law, technology, and business practices.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings, arbitrations, and negotiations as required.
- Advise clients on intellectual property, data privacy, and cybersecurity matters in a global context.
- Stay updated on legal developments and industry best practices to provide proactive and strategic legal counsel.
Qualifications
- Qualified attorney with a valid license to practice law in at least one jurisdiction (preferably in the U.S., EU, UK, Australia, or Canada).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of post-qualification experience in international law, corporate law, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of cross-border legal issues, including contracts, compliance, and regulatory matters.
- Experience with legal technology tools, such as contract management software, e-discovery platforms, or AI-driven legal solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and remotely while maintaining high levels of productivity and collaboration.
- Familiarity with data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and intellectual property regulations is highly desirable.
- Adaptability and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
