Responsibility
- Develop and implement labor policies and programs in compliance with local and international regulations.
- Conduct inspections and audits to ensure adherence to labor laws and workplace safety standards.
- Mediate and resolve employment disputes between employers and employees.
- Provide guidance and training to employers and workers on labor rights, obligations, and best practices.
- Monitor and analyze labor market trends to inform policy recommendations.
- Collaborate with government agencies, NGOs, and private sector stakeholders to promote fair employment practices.
- Prepare reports, documentation, and presentations on labor-related activities and outcomes.
- Advocate for worker protections and support initiatives that enhance job security and welfare.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in labor relations, employment law, or HR compliance.
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and international labor standards.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in dispute resolution, mediation, or conflict management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and labor management software.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian or local languages is an advantage.
