Responsibility
- Develop detailed structural drawings and plans using CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to ensure designs meet project specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Review and interpret engineering sketches, blueprints, and technical documents.
- Perform site visits and field measurements to verify design accuracy and feasibility.
- Maintain organized project documentation and version control for all drafts.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior draftsmen and team members.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety standards, and industry best practices.
- Assist in the preparation of project proposals, cost estimates, and material lists.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in structural drafting (2+ years for Senior, 0-2 years for Junior).
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).
- Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and structural principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical drawings.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations is a plus.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
