Responsibility
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, machinery, and equipment in accordance with safety standards and company policies.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults in industrial machinery, control panels, and distribution systems.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to improve machine reliability and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations, including proper lockout/tagout procedures and PPE usage.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment and systems.
- Document maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs, using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Provide technical support and training to junior staff and operators as needed.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Electricity, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Electrician in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Valid electrical license or certification (e.g., SKKNI, BNSP, or equivalent).
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices in industrial settings.
- Experience with PLCs, motor controls, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and industrial automation systems.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including nights and weekends, as required by plant operations.
