Responsibility
- Design, develop, and implement mechanical systems, components, and equipment to meet project specifications and industry standards.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment to minimize downtime and extend asset lifespan.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., electrical, civil, and project management) to integrate mechanical solutions into broader project scopes.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, schematics, and documentation using CAD software and other engineering tools.
- Analyze system failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to enhance reliability and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with local and international engineering codes, environmental regulations, and workplace safety standards.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and maintenance staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; professional certification (e.g., P.E. license) is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on system design, maintenance, or project management.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, MATLAB).
- Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and material science as applied to mechanical systems.
- Experience with HVAC, piping, or industrial machinery is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
- Familiarity with ISO, ASME, or other industry standards for mechanical engineering.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a bonus.
