Join Fox Paradox – A Premier Halal Café Expanding to Bali!
Fox Paradox, a well-established and beloved halal café brand in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor, is now bringing its artisanal coffee culture to the vibrant island of Bali. We’re on the hunt for a passionate Senior or Junior Barista who can also step into a Front of House Manager role to lead our new location in one of Bali’s most dynamic areas (Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, or surrounding tourist hubs).

Responsibility
- Coffee Excellence: Prepare and serve high-quality halal beverages, including specialty coffee, teas, and signature drinks, adhering to Fox Paradox’s standards.
- Customer Engagement: Deliver warm, personalized service, building rapport with locals and international visitors alike.
- Front of House Leadership: Oversee daily café operations, including staff coordination, shift scheduling, and inventory management.
- Team Training: Train and mentor junior baristas and staff to maintain consistency in service and product quality.
- Operational Efficiency: Ensure smooth workflow during peak hours, optimizing order fulfillment and customer turnover.
- Hygiene & Compliance: Maintain strict cleanliness standards and comply with halal certification requirements.
- Sales & Upselling: Promote menu items, seasonal specials, and merchandise to enhance revenue.
- Feedback & Improvement: Gather customer feedback and collaborate with management to refine offerings and service.
Qualifications
- Barista Experience: Minimum 1-2 years as a barista (senior role) or 6+ months (junior role) with a passion for coffee artistry.
- Leadership Skills: Prior experience in a supervisory or front-of-house role is a plus for senior candidates.
- Halal Knowledge: Familiarity with halal food and beverage preparation standards is advantageous.
- Communication: Fluent in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Malay) are a bonus.
- Customer-Centric: Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on creating positive guest experiences.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve conflicts professionally.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Certifications: Food handling or barista certifications (e.g., SCA) are preferred but not mandatory.
