Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java backend applications using Spring Boot and REST API frameworks.
- Implement and optimize microservices architecture for high-performance, cloud-native solutions on PCF-Cloud Platform.
- Write clean, efficient code with JUnit and Mockito for unit and integration testing.
- Collaborate with frontend teams to integrate Swagger for API documentation and seamless system interactions.
- Manage and query databases (MongoDB, Oracle) and develop SQL-based reports and forms.
- Monitor application performance using New Relic and Kibana to ensure system reliability and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues across distributed systems.
- Stay updated with emerging backend technologies and best practices to drive innovation.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Java backend development with expertise in Spring Boot.
- Proven experience with REST API design, Swagger, and microservices.
- Proficiency in JUnit, Mockito, and test-driven development (TDD).
- Hands-on experience with PCF-Cloud Platform or other cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP is a plus).
- Strong knowledge of MongoDB, Oracle, and SQL for data management and reporting.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like New Relic and Kibana.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
