Responsibility
- Design, deploy, and manage enterprise-level network architectures, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless systems.
- Ensure high availability, reliability, and security of network infrastructure through proactive monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess network requirements and implement scalable solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Lead network performance optimization initiatives, including capacity planning, latency reduction, and bandwidth management.
- Develop and enforce network security policies, firewalls, and access controls to protect against cyber threats.
- Conduct regular audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate risks.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior network engineers and IT staff.
- Stay abreast of emerging network technologies and recommend innovations to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, JNCIE) are a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on enterprise-scale infrastructure.
- Proven expertise in Cisco, Juniper, or Huawei networking hardware and software.
- Strong knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), switching, and network security principles.
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios) and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid environments.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment and adapt to evolving technological demands.
