Responsibility
- Strategic IT Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with corporate goals, ensuring technology drives business growth and efficiency.
- Digital Transformation: Lead the adoption of digital solutions (e.g., IoT, AI, cloud platforms) to streamline offshore engineering operations and improve decision-making.
- Project & System Management: Oversee IT projects from inception to deployment, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery while maintaining high standards of quality and security.
- Infrastructure & Security: Manage enterprise IT infrastructure, cybersecurity protocols, and disaster recovery plans to safeguard critical data and systems.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with internal teams, external vendors, and global stakeholders to integrate best-in-class technologies and services.
- Budget & Resource Optimization: Allocate IT budgets effectively, prioritizing investments in high-ROI technologies and cost-efficient solutions.
- Team Development: Mentor and lead a high-performing IT team, fostering skill development and a culture of continuous improvement.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to industry regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR) and internal policies for data integrity and legal compliance.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, CISSP, AWS/Azure) are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 8+ years in IT management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role, preferably in engineering, offshore, or manufacturing sectors.
- Technical Expertise: Proven track record in enterprise IT systems, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Leadership Skills: Strong ability to manage cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and drive organizational change.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with offshore engineering, oil & gas, or maritime industries is highly advantageous.
- Analytical Mindset: Data-driven approach to problem-solving, with expertise in IT governance, risk management, and performance metrics.
- Communication: Excellent English proficiency (written and verbal) with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
