Responsibility
- Design, implement, and maintain security solutions to protect enterprise networks and systems.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate risks.
- Monitor security systems and respond to incidents in real-time to minimize potential threats.
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices across the organization.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security measures into projects and applications.
- Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to enhance security posture.
- Provide training and awareness programs to educate employees on security protocols.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in cybersecurity roles, with a focus on security solutions and network protection.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks, protocols, and tools (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls).
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable.
- Experience with vulnerability assessment tools and penetration testing methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with cloud security and secure coding practices is a plus.
