Responsibility
- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle management of IT hardware assets, from procurement to disposal, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Implement, configure, and optimize ITAM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Flexera, BMC) to enhance asset tracking, reporting, and automation.
- Collaborate with IT, Finance, and Procurement teams to streamline asset procurement, deployment, and retirement processes.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive asset inventories, including hardware specifications, warranties, and licensing details.
- Conduct regular audits to identify discrepancies, reduce risks, and ensure alignment with contractual and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze asset utilization data to recommend cost-saving opportunities, such as reallocation, consolidation, or disposal of underutilized assets.
- Provide training and support to end-users and IT staff on ITAM best practices, tools, and policies.
- Stay updated on emerging trends in IT asset management, hardware technologies, and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 19770, ITIL).
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced certifications (e.g., ITIL, IAITAM, CompTIA A+) are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT asset management, hardware lifecycle management, or a related IT operations role.
- Proven expertise in ITAM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Flexera, BMC) and proficiency in asset tracking methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Experience with IT procurement, vendor management, and contract negotiations is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 19770, ITIL) and regulatory requirements for IT asset management.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
