Responsibility
- Design, develop, and deploy IoT-based solutions for rubber manufacturing processes, including sensor networks, edge computing, and cloud integration.
- Lead the implementation of real-time monitoring systems to track equipment performance, energy consumption, and product quality.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify inefficiencies and propose data-driven automation improvements.
- Develop and maintain predictive maintenance models using machine learning and IoT data to minimize downtime.
- Ensure cybersecurity best practices are applied to all IoT devices and industrial control systems.
- Oversee the integration of IoT platforms with ERP/MES systems for seamless data flow and reporting.
- Conduct feasibility studies and ROI analyses for new IoT initiatives in rubber processing.
- Provide training and support to operational staff on IoT tools and data interpretation.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IoT development, preferably in industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency in IoT protocols (MQTT, CoAP, LoRaWAN) and industrial communication standards (Modbus, OPC UA).
- Hands-on experience with embedded systems (Raspberry Pi, Arduino, ESP32) and cloud platforms (AWS IoT, Azure IoT, Google Cloud IoT).
- Strong programming skills in Python, C/C++, or JavaScript for IoT applications.
- Experience with data analytics tools (Tableau, Power BI) and machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Knowledge of industrial automation (PLC, SCADA) and rubber manufacturing processes is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
