Responsibility
- Operate and maintain live production equipment, including cameras, video switchers, audio mixers, and lighting systems.
- Manage broadcast and streaming systems to ensure high-quality live and on-demand content delivery.
- Set up, configure, and troubleshoot AV integration systems for worship services, conferences, and special events.
- Collaborate with the creative and technical teams to design and execute visually compelling and technically sound productions.
- Monitor and maintain signal flow, synchronization, and quality control during live broadcasts and recordings.
- Develop and implement AV workflows and best practices to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Provide technical support and training for staff and volunteers on AV equipment and software.
- Stay updated with emerging AV technologies and industry trends to recommend upgrades and improvements.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Audio Visual Engineer, Live Production Technician, or Broadcast Engineer (minimum 3 years preferred).
- Proficiency in operating video switchers (e.g., Blackmagic, Ross, Sony), cameras, audio consoles, and streaming platforms (e.g., OBS, vMix, Wirecast).
- Strong knowledge of AV signal flow, HD/SDI workflows, and IP-based broadcasting.
- Experience with AV integration, system design, and troubleshooting in live event environments.
- Familiarity with lighting control systems (e.g., DMX, GrandMA, Chamsys) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in fast-paced settings.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
