Responsibility
- Develop and optimize semiconductor process control applications using Onto Innovation’s advanced metrology and inspection tools.
- Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to design and implement innovative solutions for client-specific challenges.
- Provide technical expertise and support to clients, including on-site troubleshooting, training, and performance analysis.
- Lead the evaluation and integration of new technologies into existing semiconductor manufacturing processes.
- Analyze data and generate actionable insights to improve yield, efficiency, and product quality for clients.
- Create and deliver technical presentations, reports, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes in semiconductor process control.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives within the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in semiconductor process control, metrology, or inspection, preferably with hands-on experience in a fab environment.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes (e.g., lithography, etch, deposition, CMP).
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Python, MATLAB, JMP, or Excel) and statistical process control (SPC) methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a track record of resolving complex technical issues in high-pressure environments.
- Superb communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, engineers, and executives.
- Experience with Onto Innovation, KLA, ASML, or Applied Materials tools is a strong plus.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to client sites across Southeast Asia.
