Responsibility
- Design, develop, and optimize ETL workflows using SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) to ensure efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Integrate and maintain Sage 500 ERP systems with e-commerce platforms, ensuring seamless data synchronization and business process automation.
- Develop and manage SQL Server databases, including stored procedures, functions, and performance tuning to support business-critical applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot integration issues, and deliver scalable solutions that enhance e-commerce operations.
- Monitor and optimize data pipelines to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance, minimizing downtime and data discrepancies.
- Document integration processes, workflows, and technical specifications to ensure knowledge sharing and maintainability.
- Stay updated with emerging trends in e-commerce integration, data warehousing, and ERP systems to propose innovative solutions.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (3+ years) as an Integration Developer, ETL Developer, or SQL Server Developer, with a focus on e-commerce or ERP systems.
- Expertise in SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) and SQL Server, including advanced querying, stored procedures, and performance optimization.
- Hands-on experience with Sage 500 ERP or similar ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Dynamics) and their integration with e-commerce platforms.
- Strong understanding of ETL processes, data warehousing, and business intelligence concepts.
- Proficiency in T-SQL and experience with data modeling, indexing, and query optimization.
- Familiarity with APIs, web services, and RESTful integrations is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote, night-shift environment.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively with global teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
