- Program and configure automation hardware (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or Schneider Electric) to optimize process efficiency.
- Integrate IoT sensors and data acquisition systems for real-time monitoring of temperature, pressure, and gas composition.
- Collaborate with mechanical and chemical engineers to ensure seamless system integration and compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISA, IEC).
- Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to mitigate hazards in high-temperature pyrolysis environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve control system failures, minimizing downtime and maximizing operational uptime.
- Document technical specifications, wiring diagrams, and operational manuals for internal and regulatory use.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies in industrial automation and propose innovations to enhance system performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or Mechatronics with a focus on control systems.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial automation, preferably in energy, chemical, or environmental sectors.
- Proficiency in PLC programming (Ladder Logic, Structured Text) and SCADA software (e.g., Ignition, WinCC, or FactoryTalk).
- Hands-on experience with industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, OPC UA, Ethernet/IP).
- Strong understanding of process instrumentation (transmitters, actuators, valves) and calibration techniques.
- Familiarity with safety standards (e.g., SIL, ATEX) and environmental regulations for industrial facilities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced, cross-functional teams.
- Fluency in English; Indonesian language skills are a plus.
