Responsibility
- Lead the design, implementation, and sustainment of the Lean Operating System (OS) across all Operational Business Units (OBUs).
- Develop and execute lean transformation strategies to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste in aerospace manufacturing and service delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements, streamline workflows, and drive continuous improvement (Kaizen) initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of lean programs and recommend data-driven adjustments.
- Train, mentor, and coach employees and leadership on lean principles, tools (e.g., 5S, Six Sigma, Value Stream Mapping), and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards (e.g., AS9100) while integrating lean methodologies into quality management systems.
- Facilitate change management initiatives to foster a culture of lean thinking and operational excellence.
- Present progress reports and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders and executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in lean management, operational excellence, or continuous improvement, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of implementing Lean OS, Six Sigma, or similar frameworks in aerospace, manufacturing, or high-tech industries.
- Certification in Lean, Six Sigma (Black Belt/Green Belt), or ASQ is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills with the ability to drive large-scale transformations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to influence at all organizational levels.
- Experience with aerospace standards (AS9100, ISO 9001) and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment with a focus on results and innovation.
