Responsibility
- Lead the installation, setup, and commissioning of new semiconductor manufacturing equipment to ensure seamless integration into production lines.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment to maximize uptime and minimize production disruptions.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues related to equipment performance, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement effective solutions.
- Develop and optimize maintenance procedures to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
- Monitor equipment performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations in all maintenance activities.
- Provide technical training and support to operators and junior engineers to improve overall team competency.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to evaluate and implement equipment upgrades or replacements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in equipment maintenance, preferably in the semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing electromechanical systems, PLCs, and automation equipment.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and equipment (e.g., CVD, PVD, etch, lithography).
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) methodologies.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as SEMI, ISO, and OSHA regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to document technical procedures and train team members.
