Responsibility
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of instrumentation and control systems for industrial and infrastructure projects.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of automation solutions into existing systems.
- Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization to meet project requirements and safety standards.
- Prepare and review technical documentation, including specifications, drawings, and reports.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, codes, and best practices (e.g., IEC, ISA, ANSI).
- Participate in project planning, risk assessment, and stakeholder meetings to align deliverables with client expectations.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in instrumentation and controls to drive innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation & Controls Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in instrumentation and controls engineering, with a focus on industrial or infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in designing and programming PLCs, SCADA systems, and DCS (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Honeywell).
- Strong knowledge of communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP) and industrial networking.
- Experience with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and simulation tools.
- Familiarity with safety instrumented systems (SIS) and functional safety standards (e.g., IEC 61511).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with fluency in English.
