Responsibility
- Lead the design and specification of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and emergency systems for building projects.
- Develop and review electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and load calculations to ensure compliance with local and international codes (e.g., NEC, IEC, SNI).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems with architectural, mechanical, and structural designs.
- Conduct site surveys and feasibility studies to assess electrical requirements and constraints for new or retrofitted buildings.
- Prepare and present technical reports, drawings, and cost estimates to clients and stakeholders.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to ensure project deliverables meet quality and safety standards.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies in smart buildings, energy efficiency, and renewable energy integration.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and regulatory bodies to ensure seamless project execution and compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., P.E., CEng) is a plus.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in building services electrical engineering, with a focus on design and project management.
- Proven track record of leading electrical design for large-scale commercial, residential, or institutional projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, ETAP, or Dialux and other industry-standard design software.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian electrical codes (SNI) and international standards (NEC, IEC, BS 7671).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, consultants, and team members.
- Experience working in Southeast Asia or on international projects is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver under tight deadlines.
