Responsibility
- Develop detailed geometric designs for roads, highways, and civil projects using Bentley OpenRoads and other CAD software.
- Create and refine 3D models, cross-sections, and alignments to ensure compliance with local and international design standards (e.g., AASHTO, MUTCD).
- Collaborate with engineers, surveyors, and project managers to integrate topographic data, drainage systems, and utility layouts into final designs.
- Perform quantity takeoffs and cost estimates to support project budgets and feasibility studies.
- Review and validate designs for constructability, safety, and environmental sustainability, proposing optimizations where necessary.
- Prepare technical drawings, reports, and presentations for client submissions and internal reviews.
- Stay updated on emerging industry trends, including smart infrastructure and resilient design practices.
- Mentor junior designers and provide technical guidance to ensure team efficiency and quality deliverables.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in civil design, with a focus on roadway/highway projects and proficiency in OpenRoads, InRoads, or Civil 3D.
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale infrastructure projects from concept to construction.
- Strong understanding of geometric design principles, including horizontal/vertical alignments, superelevation, and sight distance.
- Familiarity with local Indonesian regulations (e.g., PUPR standards) and international best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in complex design scenarios.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, and other relevant software tools.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with fluency in English (written and verbal).
