Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive fire safety and workplace health policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Coordinate and oversee emergency response plans, including fire drills and evacuation procedures.
- Provide training and awareness programs to employees on fire safety, workplace health, and emergency preparedness.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, prepare detailed reports, and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure safety standards are met and continuously improved.
- Monitor and review safety performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for enhancement.
- Stay updated with the latest safety regulations, industry best practices, and technological advancements in safety management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Fire Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certification as a Fire Safety Manager (FSM) and Workplace Safety & Health Coordinator (WSHC).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in fire safety and workplace health management, preferably in a facilities management or similar environment.
- In-depth knowledge of local and international safety regulations and standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess risks and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and engage with employees at all levels.
- Proficient in using safety management software and tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
