Responsibility
- Develop detailed Civil 3D drawings and models for roads, drainage systems, earthworks, and associated civil infrastructure projects.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure drafting deliverables align with design intent and technical requirements.
- Review and interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and survey data to create accurate and compliant drafts.
- Perform quality checks on drawings to ensure adherence to industry standards, local regulations, and Jacobs’ best practices.
- Mentor junior drafters and provide technical guidance to enhance team productivity and skill development.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders, including clients and contractors, to address drafting-related queries and revisions.
- Utilize BIM (Building Information Modeling) tools to integrate civil drafting with broader project workflows.
- Stay updated with emerging trends in civil drafting software and methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting Technology, or a related field. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil drafting, with a focus on infrastructure projects such as roads, drainage, and earthworks.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and other relevant drafting software. Experience with BIM tools is a plus.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methodologies, and local regulatory requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce precise, error-free drawings under tight deadlines.
- Effective communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate across multicultural teams.
- Experience working on international projects or with global engineering firms is highly desirable.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali or work remotely with occasional on-site requirements.
