Responsibility
- Conduct on-site inspections of construction works to ensure compliance with CSA standards, design specifications, and local regulations.
- Review and approve construction methodologies, materials, and workmanship to guarantee structural integrity and durability.
- Prepare and submit detailed inspection reports, including non-conformance notices (NCNs) and corrective action requests (CARs).
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve technical issues and mitigate risks.
- Monitor health, safety, and environmental (HSE) compliance on-site, ensuring adherence to industry best practices.
- Verify as-built drawings and documentation for accuracy before project handover.
- Participate in pre-construction meetings to align on quality benchmarks and inspection schedules.
- Provide technical guidance to junior inspectors and site personnel on quality control procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., PMP, CQI) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction inspection, with a focus on CSA or similar quality assurance roles.
- In-depth knowledge of international construction codes (e.g., ASTM, ACI, ISO) and Indonesian regulations (e.g., SNI).
- Proven ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Proficiency in inspection tools (e.g., total stations, ultrasonic testers) and software (e.g., AutoCAD, Primavera).
- Willingness to travel to project sites across Bali and work flexible hours as needed.
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical standards and attention to detail in high-stakes environments.
