Responsibility
- Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of industrial processes to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), workflow diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Conduct time and motion studies to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements in workflow and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and supply chain, to ensure seamless process integration.
- Utilize data-driven methodologies, such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma, to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of new equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and production staff on best practices in process engineering and operational excellence.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports to track progress and identify areas for further optimization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial or process engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven expertise in process optimization, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Minitab, AutoCAD, or similar).
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, including ISO, OSHA, and environmental compliance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt) is highly desirable.
