Responsibility
- Lead and manage electrical engineering design activities, ensuring alignment with client requirements, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines.
- Oversee the preparation of electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project scope.
- Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments to evaluate the viability of electrical systems and solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, civil engineers, and project managers, to integrate electrical designs seamlessly into overall project plans.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and environmental regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and stakeholders to procure materials, equipment, and services, ensuring timely and cost-effective project delivery.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to mitigate delays or budget overruns.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., PE, CEng) is a plus.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior role.
- Proven expertise in electrical design, power distribution, lighting systems, and control systems for commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD, ETAP, or Revit, and familiarity with industry standards (e.g., IEC, NEC, BS).
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, and timelines effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with clients, stakeholders, and team members at all levels.
- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations, environmental compliance, and sustainable engineering practices.
- Experience working in Southeast Asia or on international projects is highly desirable.
