Responsibility
- Develop and implement standardized work methods and machine configurations to improve manufacturability and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with product development teams to integrate autonomation (Jidoka) principles into production lines.
- Conduct time-motion studies and workflow analyses to identify bottlenecks and propose data-driven solutions.
- Design and optimize layout plans for production floors to enhance efficiency and ergonomics.
- Lead continuous improvement (Kaizen) initiatives to drive productivity gains and cost reductions.
- Train and mentor production staff on lean manufacturing techniques and best practices.
- Monitor KPIs (e.g., OEE, cycle time, defect rates) and present actionable insights to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards in all engineering processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial engineering within manufacturing (textile/apparel preferred).
- Proven expertise in process optimization, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Strong proficiency in automation tools, CAD software, and data analysis (e.g., Minitab, Excel, Power BI).
- Experience with autonomation (Jidoka) and standardized work implementation.
- Excellent problem-solving, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
- Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma (Green Belt/Black Belt), or similar are highly advantageous.
