Responsibility
- Lead the planning, design, and execution of Solar PV projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, contractors, and clients, to deliver sustainable energy solutions.
- Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and technical evaluations to optimize system performance and efficiency.
- Oversee procurement, installation, and commissioning of solar energy systems while ensuring compliance with local regulations and safety protocols.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including technical reports, drawings, and progress updates for stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, troubleshooting technical challenges to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in renewable energy to drive innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications in renewable energy are a plus.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in project engineering, with a focus on Solar PV systems or related renewable energy projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of solar energy systems, including design, installation, and maintenance best practices.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., AutoCAD, PVSyst, MS Project) and familiarity with industry standards (IEC, NEC, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed and adapt to dynamic work environments.
- Certifications such as PE (Professional Engineer) or NABCEP (North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners) are highly desirable.
