As an IAM Security Engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain robust access control frameworks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and protecting sensitive data from unauthorized access. Responsibility
- Design, deploy, and manage CyberArk Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions to secure privileged accounts and credentials.
- Develop and enforce IAM policies, role-based access controls (RBAC), and least-privilege principles across the organization.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of IAM systems to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IAM solutions with existing IT infrastructure, including cloud and on-premise environments.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents related to identity and access, implementing remediation strategies as needed.
- Automate IAM workflows, including provisioning, deprovisioning, and access reviews, to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors.
- Provide technical guidance and training to IT staff and end-users on IAM best practices and security awareness.
- Stay abreast of emerging threats and trends in IAM and cybersecurity, recommending proactive measures to enhance security posture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CyberArk CAEP, or Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator) are a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IAM, with at least 2 years specializing in CyberArk PAM implementation and administration.
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory, LDAP, SAML, OAuth, and multi-factor authentication (MFA) solutions.
- Strong knowledge of identity governance, access certification, and privilege escalation prevention.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python, or Bash) for IAM workflows.
- Experience with cloud IAM solutions (e.g., AWS IAM, Azure AD, or Google Cloud IAM) is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, contract-based environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
