Responsibility
- Design, develop, and oversee HVAC/ACMV systems for industrial construction projects, ensuring compliance with local and international standards (ASHRAE, ISO, etc.).
- Conduct load calculations, equipment selection, and system sizing to optimize energy efficiency and performance.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors to integrate HVAC systems seamlessly into construction plans.
- Perform site inspections, commissioning, and testing to verify system functionality and adherence to specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to HVAC installations, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum reliability.
- Prepare technical reports, drawings, and documentation for project stakeholders and regulatory approvals.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and sustainable practices to drive innovation in HVAC solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to ensure project success.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC/ACMV system design and installation for industrial construction projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other HVAC design software (e.g., HAP, Carrier E20).
- Strong knowledge of local and international HVAC standards (e.g., ASHRAE, SMACNA, ISO).
- Experience with energy-efficient systems, VRF/VRV technology, and sustainable HVAC solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines in fast-paced environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Certifications such as LEED, PE, or equivalent are a plus.
