Responsibility
- Monitor and optimize the performance of centralized air-conditioning systems, mechanical ventilation, and related HVAC infrastructure.
- Conduct regular inspections, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability and efficiency.
- Develop and implement energy-saving strategies to reduce operational costs and environmental impact.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, upgrade, or retrofit HVAC systems for new and existing facilities.
- Prepare technical reports, schematics, and documentation for compliance with local and international standards (e.g., ASHRAE, ISO).
- Troubleshoot complex HVAC issues, providing timely and cost-effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on best practices in HVAC maintenance and operation.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies in HVAC, including smart controls, IoT integration, and green building certifications (e.g., LEED, Green Mark).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., ASHRAE, LEED AP) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC system design, installation, or maintenance, preferably in commercial or industrial settings.
- Proficient in HVAC software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Carrier HAP, or Trane TRACE) and familiar with BMS (Building Management Systems).
- Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles, psychrometrics, and air distribution systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze technical data and propose actionable solutions.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel to client sites across Bali and occasionally to other regions in Indonesia.
- Certifications in OSHA, EPA 608, or similar safety/environmental standards are highly desirable.
