Responsibility
- Lead the design, planning, and implementation of HVAC systems for new construction and retrofit projects in Bali.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (architects, electrical engineers, contractors) to ensure seamless integration of HVAC systems.
- Oversee on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC equipment, ensuring adherence to technical specifications and safety standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues during and after project completion.
- Develop and review HVAC schematics, load calculations, and energy efficiency reports using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Carrier HAP).
- Ensure compliance with Indonesian building codes, environmental regulations, and international HVAC standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA).
- Conduct site surveys and feasibility studies to assess project requirements and propose cost-effective solutions.
- Provide technical training and guidance to junior engineers and on-site technicians.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC system design, installation, and commissioning for commercial or industrial projects.
- Proven track record of managing HVAC projects from concept to completion, preferably in Southeast Asia.
- Proficiency in HVAC design software (e.g., AutoCAD MEP, Revit, Carrier HAP, EnergyPlus).
- Strong knowledge of VRV/VRF systems, chillers, AHUs, ductwork design, and BMS integration.
- Familiarity with Indonesian building codes and local HVAC regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
