Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local and international regulations (e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001).
- Conduct regular workplace inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and reporting to prevent recurrence and improve safety performance.
- Design and deliver HSE training programs for employees, contractors, and management to promote a culture of safety awareness.
- Collaborate with operational teams to integrate HSE considerations into project planning, manufacturing processes, and facility management.
- Monitor and report on HSE KPIs, including incident rates, near-miss reports, and compliance metrics, to senior management.
- Ensure emergency preparedness by developing and testing response plans for fire, chemical spills, and other potential hazards.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in HSE to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor) are highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HSE roles, preferably in manufacturing, engineering, or construction industries.
- Proven track record of implementing HSE management systems and driving measurable improvements in safety performance.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian HSE regulations (e.g., K3, PP 50/2012) and international standards (e.g., ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in conducting training sessions, workshops, and safety drills for diverse audiences.
- Analytical mindset with experience in data-driven decision-making and reporting (e.g., using Power BI, Excel, or HSE software).
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages are a plus.
