As part of our innovative engineering team, you will design, develop, and optimize PCB layouts and embedded firmware for next-generation aerial systems. With a competitive salary package of IDR 500M–700M per month (equivalent to ~$32K–$45K USD annually) and an annual bonus of up to 3 months’ salary, this position is perfect for engineers passionate about pushing the boundaries of embedded systems in aerospace applications.

Responsibility
- Design, prototype, and optimize multi-layer PCBs for embedded systems in drone and aerospace applications, ensuring compliance with industry standards (IPC, ISO, MIL-STD).
- Develop and debug real-time embedded firmware (C/C++, RTOS) for microcontrollers (STM32, ESP32, ARM Cortex) and FPGAs.
- Integrate sensors (IMU, GPS, LiDAR), communication modules (LoRa, RF, 4G/5G), and power management systems into compact, high-reliability designs.
- Conduct signal integrity analysis and EMI/EMC testing to ensure robust performance in harsh environments.
- Collaborate with mechanical and software teams to deliver end-to-end solutions from schematic to production.
- Implement firmware over-the-air (OTA) updates and secure bootloaders for remote device management.
- Document technical specifications, test reports, and manufacturing guidelines for contract manufacturers.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in miniaturization, low-power design, and AI at the edge for aerospace applications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in PCB design (Altium, KiCad, OrCAD) and embedded firmware development.
- Proficiency in C/C++ for microcontrollers and experience with RTOS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr, QNX).
- Strong understanding of analog/digital circuit design, power distribution, and high-speed signal routing.
- Experience with wireless communication protocols (BLE, Wi-Fi, Zigbee, CAN bus) and sensor fusion algorithms.
- Familiarity with DFM/DFT principles and collaboration with CMs for mass production.
- Knowledge of aerospace standards (DO-178C, DO-254) or drone regulations (FAA, EASA) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
