Responsibility
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery, equipment, and mechanical systems to ensure operational reliability.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools, and implement effective repair solutions.
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery to identify wear, defects, or potential failures, and recommend proactive measures.
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance for maximum efficiency.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, reports, and documentation of all work performed, including parts replaced and labor hours.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, industry standards, and company policies during all maintenance activities.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new mechanical systems or upgrades as required.
- Provide technical support and training to junior staff or cross-functional teams on equipment operation and maintenance best practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in manufacturing, industrial, or similar environments.
- Proven expertise in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical systems and their troubleshooting.
- Certification in mechanical engineering, industrial maintenance, or a related field is a plus.
- Ability to work independently or in a team, with excellent problem-solving and time-management skills.
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is advantageous.
- Willingness to work in shift-based or on-call schedules as needed to support 24/7 operations.
