Note: This role offers hybrid/remote work options with occasional travel to our Singapore headquarters or project sites as needed.
Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end talent acquisition processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding top talent for our engineering and construction teams in Bali and beyond.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with local labor laws (Indonesian Manpower Regulations) and international best practices.
- Design and execute employee engagement initiatives, such as wellness programs, team-building activities, and recognition schemes, to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Partner with senior leadership to create and manage performance management systems, including goal-setting, appraisals, and career development plans.
- Oversee compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness in the local market while maintaining cost efficiency.
- Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives to build a workforce that reflects the rich cultural diversity of Bali and our global operations.
- Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling, with a focus on fairness and transparency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational development, change management, and workforce planning initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all local and international HR regulations, including work permits, visas, and labor contracts for expatriate employees.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. A Masterâs degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or leadership role, preferably in the engineering, construction, or manufacturing sectors.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian labor laws (Undang-Undang Ketenagakerjaan) and experience managing HR operations in Indonesia or Southeast Asia.
- Proven track record in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and HR policy development.
- Experience with HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia or other languages is a strong advantage.
- Ability to work independently in a remote/hybrid environment while maintaining strong collaboration with global teams.
- Cultural sensitivity and experience working in multicultural environments, particularly in Bali or other expat-heavy locations.
