Responsibility
- Lead the design and planning of highways, roads, and transportation systems in compliance with DPWH, AASHTO, and international engineering standards.
- Conduct feasibility studies, traffic impact assessments, and site investigations to ensure project viability.
- Develop detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates using CAD, Civil 3D, or similar software.
- Collaborate with government agencies, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project alignment with regulatory and community needs.
- Oversee construction supervision to ensure adherence to design specifications, safety protocols, and quality standards.
- Implement sustainable and resilient engineering practices, including drainage systems, pavement design, and environmental considerations.
- Prepare and present technical reports, proposals, and progress updates to clients and management.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to ensure project success and team development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred) with a specialization in Transportation or Highway Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in highway design, road infrastructure, or transportation engineering, preferably with DPWH or international projects.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification in Indonesia/Philippines is a plus.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MXROAD, or similar design software.
- Strong knowledge of geometric design, pavement engineering, and traffic analysis.
- Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) and GIS tools is advantageous.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, multicultural environments and adapt to evolving project requirements.
