Responsibility
- Lead and supervise all maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting activities for heavy equipment and machinery.
- Perform diagnostic tests to identify mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues in equipment.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to ensure equipment reliability and longevity.
- Oversee and mentor junior mechanics, providing technical guidance and training as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work, including parts used and labor hours.
- Coordinate with procurement teams to order necessary parts and supplies for repairs.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and industry regulations during maintenance operations.
- Collaborate with operations teams to prioritize repair tasks based on production needs.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
- Proven expertise in diagnosing and repairing heavy machinery, including excavators, loaders, and crushers.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems in heavy equipment.
- Certification in heavy equipment maintenance (e.g., Komatsu, Caterpillar, or equivalent) is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
