Responsibility
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards, unsafe conditions, or non-compliance with OHS regulations.
- Develop and implement safety management systems (SMS), including emergency response plans and incident reporting procedures.
- Monitor adherence to PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) usage and safe work practices across all departments.
- Investigate workplace incidents, near-misses, and accidents, preparing detailed reports with corrective action recommendations.
- Deliver safety training programs for employees, contractors, and management on topics like fire safety, chemical handling, and ergonomics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct risk assessments (JSA, HAZOP) for new projects or processes.
- Ensure compliance with local and national safety laws, including documentation for audits by government agencies (e.g., Kemenaker).
- Track and analyze safety KPIs (e.g., LTIFR, TRCF) and present findings to senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. Certifications (e.g., AK3, SMK3, NEBOSH, IOSH) are a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an HSE Inspector, Safety Officer, or similar role in construction, manufacturing, or hospitality.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian OHS regulations (UU No. 1/1970, Permenaker No. 5/2018) and international standards (ISO 45001).
- Strong analytical skills to assess risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to train employees and liaise with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, incident reporting software, and safety management tools.
- Ability to work in field environments (e.g., construction sites, warehouses) with occasional travel across Bali.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian (written and verbal).
