Responsibility
- Assist in the daily operations of the palm oil mill, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
- Monitor and control the production process, including sterilization, threshing, pressing, and clarification, to optimize CPO output.
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and report any operational issues or maintenance needs.
- Collaborate with the production team to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems, minimizing downtime and maximizing efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations to maintain a safe and sustainable workplace.
- Assist in the implementation of quality control measures to ensure CPO meets industry and company standards.
- Maintain accurate records of production data, including yields, quality metrics, and equipment performance.
- Support the team in inventory management, including the tracking of raw materials and finished products.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Agriculture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in the palm oil or food processing industry.
- Strong understanding of production processes, machinery operation, and quality control principles.
- Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations in industrial settings.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and production reports.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and data entry software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and adapt to shifting priorities.
