Responsibility
- Install, maintain, and repair hospital-grade HVAC and refrigeration systems, including medical cold storage units.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure compliance with healthcare safety standards.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues in air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment.
- Collaborate with the facilities team to prioritize and execute maintenance requests efficiently.
- Document all service activities, including parts used, labor time, and system performance metrics.
- Ensure adherence to local and international regulations for medical facility environmental controls.
- Respond to emergency repair requests promptly to minimize downtime in critical areas.
- Train junior technicians and support staff on basic system operations and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an HVAC/Refrigeration Technician, preferably in a hospital or commercial setting.
- Certification in HVAC/R systems (e.g., EPA 608, local equivalents) is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, refrigeration cycles, and air distribution principles.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in high-stakes environments.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment (up to 25 kg) and work in confined spaces.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel between hospital locations as needed.
