Responsibility
- Lead the technical design, installation, and maintenance of security systems, including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and fire alarm systems.
- Oversee project execution from planning to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, and vendors to develop customized security solutions tailored to specific needs.
- Conduct risk assessments and provide expert recommendations to enhance security infrastructure.
- Manage and mentor a team of technicians, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with local and international security standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide timely resolutions to minimize downtime.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies in security systems and integrate innovative solutions into projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, PMP) are a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in security systems, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing CCTV, access control, fire alarm, and intrusion detection systems.
- Strong knowledge of networking, IP-based systems, and cybersecurity principles as they relate to physical security.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using CAD software, project management tools, and other relevant technical applications.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with AWS (Allowance for Work Space) and VB (Variable Bonus) structures is advantageous.
