Responsibility
- Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance on heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and cranes.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues to identify root causes and implement effective repairs.
- Replace or repair damaged components, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and hydraulic systems, using specialized tools and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work, including parts used, labor hours, and service history.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards to prevent accidents and equipment failures.
- Collaborate with operators and supervisors to assess equipment performance and recommend improvements or upgrades.
- Order and manage inventory of spare parts and supplies to support maintenance operations.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in heavy equipment technology and repair techniques through continuous learning.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic or in a similar role, preferably in construction, mining, or agriculture.
- Proven expertise in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components.
- Certification from a recognized technical or vocational institution in heavy equipment mechanics or a related field is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of safety procedures and OSHA/industry regulations for heavy machinery operations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to different job sites in the Bali region as needed.
