Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate geotechnical field investigations, including soil sampling, borehole logging, and in-situ testing.
- Evaluate and interpret soil data, ground conditions, and geotechnical reports to provide actionable insights for project planning.
- Ensure the accuracy and quality of all fieldwork data, adhering to industry standards and company protocols.
- Prepare comprehensive geotechnical reports, including risk assessments and foundation recommendations.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to integrate geotechnical findings into design and construction phases.
- Conduct site inspections and monitor ground conditions to identify potential hazards or changes.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures for geotechnical data collection and analysis.
- Stay updated with the latest geotechnical technologies, methodologies, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in geotechnical investigations, with a focus on fieldwork and data interpretation.
- Proven expertise in soil mechanics, rock mechanics, and foundation engineering.
- Proficiency in geotechnical software (e.g., gINT, PLAXIS, or similar) and data analysis tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex geological data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report writing and stakeholder collaboration.
- Familiarity with international geotechnical standards (e.g., ASTM, Eurocode, or local Indonesian regulations).
- Willingness to travel to various project sites across Bali and adapt to fieldwork conditions.
