Responsibility
- Lead geotechnical investigations, including soil sampling, laboratory testing, and in-situ assessments to evaluate subsurface conditions.
- Design and analyze foundations, retaining structures, and slope stabilization systems for civil and infrastructure projects.
- Prepare detailed geotechnical reports, risk assessments, and recommendations for clients and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to integrate geotechnical considerations into project designs.
- Oversee fieldwork, including drilling operations, instrumentation installation, and construction monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with local and international geotechnical standards, codes, and environmental regulations.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to project teams.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and best practices in geotechnical engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, with a focus on civil infrastructure projects.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
- Proficient in geotechnical software such as PLAXIS, GeoStudio, or gINT.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with geotechnical modeling and stability analysis.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in tropical or challenging geological environments is a plus.
- Willingness to travel to project sites across Bali and other regions as needed.
