Responsibility
- Operate and maintain solvent recovery systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with environmental regulations.
- Monitor wastewater treatment processes, including chemical dosing, filtration, and separation, to achieve efficient and safe operations.
- Conduct regular inspections and troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize process parameters and improve recovery rates of solvents and other valuable chemicals.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, including proper handling of hazardous materials and compliance with AWS (American Welding Society) standards.
- Document process data, prepare reports, and present findings to management for continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new technologies or methodologies to enhance solvent recovery efficiency.
- Support training and mentoring of junior technicians to foster a culture of safety and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in solvent recovery, wastewater treatment, or chemical processing industries.
- Familiarity with AWS standards and safety protocols for handling hazardous materials.
- Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting industrial equipment, such as distillation columns, evaporators, and filtration systems.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret process data and implement corrective actions.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirements in Indonesia or similar jurisdictions.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to process optimization.
- Effective communication skills in English (written and verbal) for collaboration with international teams.
