Responsibility
- Design and engineer high-purity and specialty gas systems for semiconductor manufacturing facilities.
- Develop and review technical specifications, P&IDs, and system layouts for gas distribution networks.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (SEMI, ISO, NFPA) and local regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and vendors to execute system installations and upgrades.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement safety protocols for gas handling and storage.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to gas system performance and reliability.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in gas system engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in gas system design for semiconductor or similar high-tech industries.
- Proven expertise in high-purity gas systems, bulk gas storage, and distribution networks.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as SEMI S2/S8, NFPA 55, and ISO 14644.
- Strong proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and simulation tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and lead technical projects.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
