Responsibility
- Design, develop, and implement advanced automation systems to optimize industrial and operational processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation solutions with IoT, AI, and machine learning technologies.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing automation frameworks to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for automation projects to ensure scalability and ROI.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including system specifications, user manuals, and technical reports.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
- Stay updated with emerging trends in automation, robotics, and Industry 4.0 technologies.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and best practices in automation engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (Masterâs degree is a plus).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in automation engineering, industrial control systems, or robotics.
- Proficiency in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or similar), SCADA systems, and HMI development.
- Hands-on experience with Python, C++, or Java for automation scripting and system integration.
- Strong understanding of IoT, AI, and machine learning applications in automation.
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, OPC UA, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
