Responsibility
- Prepare and review accurate financial statements, NAV calculations, and investor reports for complex fund structures.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and other regulatory frameworks relevant to fund accounting.
- Collaborate with auditors, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and optimize processes.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Mentor junior team members and provide training on fund accounting best practices.
- Monitor cash flows, capital calls, and distributions while maintaining meticulous records.
- Liaise with clients to address inquiries and deliver insights on fund performance.
- Implement automation tools to enhance efficiency and reduce manual errors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in fund accounting, preferably within private equity, hedge funds, or real estate.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Investran, eFront) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong knowledge of investment structures, partnership accounting, and waterfall calculations.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in an EMEA shift and collaborate with global teams.
- Outstanding communication skills to articulate complex financial concepts clearly.
- Experience in a hybrid work environment with self-motivation and time-management skills.
